Remembrance Day, 2022
This Friday, 11th November, 2022 at 11am St Anthony's School community will stop during the Athletics Carnival to commemorate Remembrance Day. We will make the time to commemorate, celebrate and pray for our fallen soliders and all who serve to protect our country and our freedom, past and present.
Bishop Tony's Pastoral Parish Visit 25 - 27 November 2022
I wish to bring to your attention a visit from Bishop Tony that will involve various groups within the parish. Everyone is invited to attend the public events that will be held each day. Your feedback and vision for the parish is important to be voiced so that further directions can be recommended.
Friday 25 November
There will be opportunities during the three days for Bishop Tony to meet with thevarious groups within the parish. On Friday Bishop Tony will begin with a Mass at 9.15am then meet with Fr Leenus. At 11.00am he will then visit and spend time at the school and meet the staff, students and the Leadership Team. He will be given a tour of the school to see the excellent work that everyone is involved in.
After lunch he will meet with the Parish Staff and the various Group Representatives.
Saturday 26 November
The day will start with Rosary and then 9.15am Mass, Confession and Benediction. He will then have a meeting with those involved in ministries. At 11.00am there will be an Open Parish Forum to discuss the life of the parish and what is hoped for the following five years which will be followed by lunch.
Sunday 27 November
The day will commence with a Mass at 9.00am and then Bishop Tony will meet the Sunday School and speak with the Youth of the Parish.
At 11.00am there will be Mass followed by refreshments. The day will conclude with lunch with Fr Leenus and then his departure at the end.
