From the Principal

We would like to acknowledge the original custodians of this land

and pay our respects to the Elders past and present and emerging,

for they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture and hopes of Indigenous Australia.

Athletics Day

What a wonderful day we had with such eager and excited students taking part in the events.  Thank you to Mr Simon Addicoat, the staff and the parents who made the carnival so special after such a long time.  We were so fortunate that the weather was in our favour.

Congratulations to Padua (Red team) who came first in achieving the highest score and all the other teams who participated with such eagerness and enthusiasm.

Traffic Safety

Drop off and pick up times are always busy times on the road, however, the safety of children, parents and the public are of utmost importance. Please use the crossing when parking on the opposite side of the school and coming to collect your children, and always adhere to the speed limit.

Carols Evening

All families are invited to come along on Monday 12 December to be part of our traditionally carols evening.  This is an opportunity to gather together for a picnic dinner on The Green and join the students as they present to you  Carols and popular Christmas songs.  The evening will start at 6.30pm and the PFA will also provide their support.  More information will come out in the next few weeks.

Curriculum Day Tuesday 6 December

The focus for the day will be for staff to work on the School Review process which looks at all the work the school has undertaken over the last four years.  Staff from the MACS  will support the staff to follow the guidelines and begin work on evaluating and planning for the School Review which will formally take place in Term 2 2023.  The process  recognises the distinctive nature of Catholic education focusing on the full flourishing of each student. This is an evidenced-based framework designed to highlight the priorities and practices that support student outcomes through school improvement and effectiveness.

This is a school closure day for students. Please note that OHSC will be available.

Upcoming Meetings for your attention:

SAC - AGM:   Tuesday 22 November - 8.00pm

PFA - AGM:  Tuesday 29 November - 7.30pm

Sincerely yours

Margaret Carlei
