COLOUR RUN

The Holy Spirit School Community held our annual Colour Run on Friday 11th November. The children and teachers had a wonderful time running laps around the school ground, while parent volunteers squirted them with coloured powder. Children collected sponsorship money for this event and the P&F supplied a sausage sizzle lunch and an icy pole as a special treat.

We are delighted to announce that this event raised over $12,000 for upgrades to our school playground, including new picnic tables and games painted onto the concrete (hopscotch, four square and many more!). 

SCHOLASTIC BOOK CLUB 

Our final Book Club of the year (Issue 8) is available to order now! Remember you can order online scholastic.com.au/LOOP and check the Gift Order box to have your purchases delivered straight to the office (away from prying little eyes!). Orders close Sunday 27 November 2022.

 

P&F ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The Holy Spirit P&F Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 22 November at 7.30pm in the school staff room. We warmly invite all parents, carers and grandparents (including those whose children have since left the school) to attend the meeting and consider joining the P&F Committee in 2023. We are a vibrant, welcoming group of volunteers who work to enrich the children’s school journey through exciting events and fundraising.

In particular, we are still looking for nominees for the following Committee roles in 2023:

  • Social Coordinator
  • Fundraising Coordinator
  • Fete Liaison Representative

If you would like to nominate yourself for a position on the committee, please contact pandf@hsringwoodnth.catholic.edu.au Some positions can also be shared between two people so consider reaching out to a friend to take on a role together!
