Our Wellbeing Leader, Miss Carly Bergen, has been appointed to the role of Deputy Principal: Wellbeing and Culture at Redeemer Lutheran School, Nuriootpa, beginning 2023. With her knowledge and skill in this area, I have no doubt Carly is the perfect person to begin this new role and culture for Redeemer. Please join me in congratulating Carly in her exciting new appointment.

We will be making interim arrangements to begin 2023 for Carly’s leadership role at St Paul and advertising in the new year for a permanent leadership position.

Contemporary Learning Tour

Over the past three days, Jason Fay and I have been in Sydney visiting schools which are known for their contemporary style, whether this be buildings and architecture, culture, or teaching and learning. This tour was arranged by educational leaders in all three regions of Lutheran Education Australia as a valuable time of exploring, learning and questioning. It was notable to see play and inquiry at the forefront of leaders’ thinking in the way new schools are designed, and to see educational research and child wellbeing as the focus in the development of creative learning programs and school vision. Thank you to Miss Carly Bergen for leading the school in our absence.
