OVAL UPGRADE PROJECT

You may recall the school was granted funds in the 2021-22 state budget to upgrade the school oval to a synthetic surface. Since the funding announcement, the school has been working closely with the Victorian Schools Building Authority (VSBA) to design the project and put it out to tender. Sadly, the project has stalled due to price increases and the initial grant is now insufficient to fund the project.

Dina Pogrebnoy, our School Council President, has been lobbying Daniel Andrews' office to increase the funding to enable the project to be successfully completed. Earlier this week, Dina received a letter from Mr Andrews stating that, if re-elected, the Labor government will allocate the additional funds required to ensure the project can be progressed in full and as intended.

We would like to thank Dina most sincerely for her hard work in lobbying Mr Andrews' office, to achieve this very positive result.

There will be no further reports from Mr Ramsey this week, as he has been away on Year 6 camp.
