CROSS COUNTRY RESULTS

After recording a comfortable win in the All Schools Cross Country two weeks ago, Sacred Heart went down narrowly to John XXIII at the ACC Cross Country Carnival last week. Our overall tally of points was actually 178 points better than three years ago when we won. After being in front all day, Sacred Heart were overtaken by John XXIII in the last race to claim the overall trophy by 34 points.

The Girls and the Boys both finished second in their Aggregate Trophies while the U/13 Boys and U/16 Girls won their age group trophies.

It is important to remember that there were 76 schools competing at the ACC Carnival with over 300 students in every race. While all runners representing Sacred Heart performed admirably, there were several outstanding efforts that need to be highlighted.
