Principal's Message-
Amadeo Ferra
It’s been another busy term with lots of events and opportunities for community members to connect including Parent Teacher Interviews and a well attended and highly successful music concert which involved over 100 students playing in front of parents and staff.
Last week one of our most successful VCE teachers Robyn Andrews was recognised by the Department of Education for 40 years of service. We hope she continues to teach our students for many years to come!
Today was the last day of work for our Careers, VET Pathways and Transitions Coordinator, Jackie Woods. Jackie has had many roles over her long career with us but her lasting impact will be on helping to steer our students towards careers of their own beyond McClelland. We wish her all the best with her future.
On a personal note, I have been asked to take on a senior role with the department on a six-month secondment as a Senior Education Improvement Leader overseeing 27 schools in the Dandenong area. I look forward to this challenge and know that the school is in the very safe hands of an experienced Leadership and Principal Team. In the interim, Shaun Doherty will be the Acting Principal who has taken on the Acting Principal role in the past and I look forward to hearing how the school is progressing over the next semester.
