The second session involved lots of thinking and strategic moves with our four games - Connect four, extend a line, Kono and Kaooa. Finally, the students worked together in their teams to solve as many problems as they could.

Throughout the day prizes were awarded to the winning team of each session and scores collated to find the overall winning team for the day. Our Year 5 and 6 students enjoyed their Maths day, which was both challenging and fun. They had fun working within a team to solve problems and challenge others.

The math games day was a lot of fun! As a leader, I didn't get to play the games but I saw that the other students were having fun. We gave out heaps of bonus points for teamwork and collaboration. I hope that we can do this again in the future. Neela

Congratulations to Jacob, David, Sienna and Cara who achieved the highest score overall for the day.  Well done, a great team effort.

Thank you to our Year 5/6 leaders who ran the day for us. We are so lucky to have you, you did an amazing job!
