Speech Pathology

I would like to begin by welcoming our new speech pathologist Lydia Pervez to our Belmore School therapy team.   We are delighted to have Lydia join our team.  Lydia brings a wealth of knowledge in working with children with special needs and has also a strong interest in Alternative Augmentative Communication (AAC).   On behalf of the therapy team, I welcome Lydia to our team.  Lydia will be working with Secondary Learning Centre students. 

Belmore School Information Session

This term my main focus is to continue promoting Belmore School within the wider community.  Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, I am unable to conduct visits to all services; but for the time being, I will be contacting all early years and private providers via phone and WebEx meetings to talk about Belmore School. 

On Wednesday 29th July at 10:30am I will be running an online information session about Belmore School via WebEx.  To date, we already have a number of pre-school teachers and private therapy providers registered for this session.  If you are interested in attending and or know anyone who may be interested please do not hesitate to give my contact details for more information.   

NDIS

NDIS recently updated the price guide and support catalogue (2020-21) on 1st July 2020.  This guide includes information on more than ninety (90) disability-related health supports that can be funded under NDIS.   As we are all currently going through unprecedented times and following stage 3 restrictions with our children, I encourage you all to review this guide to find what additional supports you may be able to access for your child.   For more information please refer to:
