First Day Back for VCE and VCAL Students
Tuesday saw Year 11 and Year 12 students return to on-campus learning. It was great to see happy and healthy smiling faces enjoying the company of their friends and teachers. It is relationships that are key to getting through difficult times and we are proud that Heritage College can be a small part of keeping our community together.

Happy Learning Times in the Prep Room
As we move back into remote and flexible learning arrangements, Prep DH would like to share with you some of our happy times in the classroom. One Learning Intention we investigated last Semester was to identify and measure capacity. Student’s used an assortment of containers and had to fill up the containers to a designated level of full, half full, half empty and so on. Judging by the happy expressions on our students faces, this turned out to be a fun and happy learning activity.
Exploring Aboriginal Art form is always an exciting time in the Art room. Students learn to experiment with paint application techniques and use different paint tools. Aboriginal Art consists of symbols. These symbols were used as a means of communication; communication of their lives on earth, their rituals, food and customs. In one of our Art lessons, Prep DH painted Aboriginal dots and symbols on wooden logs. These logs have been used to enhance our garden in the Prep and Year 1 area.
