We are all back to online learning for Prep to Year 10 students in Term 3, commencing Monday 20 July until at least Wednesday 19 August 2020. Senior secondary students in Year 11 and 12 (and Year 10 students fast-tracking VCE subjects) will recommence classes on campus as per the original return to school date, Tuesday 14 July 2020. While we understand that there may be some trepidation around returning to off-campus learning, rest assured that our teams are fully prepared for 'lockdown 2.0'. Whilst this has caused untold amounts of disruption to our families and teams, we are confident that we will prevail through this crisis as everyone adopts the health messaging in their respective communities to stop the spread of the virus.
While we may not be regularly meeting in person together, we have adapted to accommodate as much as possible online, including our newest enrolments for next year, who have been meeting with the leadership team via Zoom. We hope to offer several other online services, including school tours, shortly. Our Open Night will also look very different this year!
There will be an information pack containing an updated version of ‘Supporting your child for off-campus learning’ along with further instructions this week. Please note during this time that critical communications with families will be published via our parent portal, SEQTA Engage. If you have not done so already, you must arrange access to SEQTA Engage via your campus reception to ensure you are staying up to date with critical information during this time.
Please continue to keep all of our committed educators in your prayers. Our team continues to pray for our families and students.
