Performing Arts

Written by Ethan, Gillian and Alan

This term, the 5/6 students did something really fun - we were choreographing and performing dances based on the seasons. We started practising and learning about the different steps once a week from week 1 of this term. We had to spin around in circles in a group doing different dance routines. Some of the steps were really tricky but after we practised many times, we just got better and better.

We ended with the final performance on Tuesday 7th June 2022. The whole experience was fun because we learnt new moves and some of our friends had some really funny dance moves.

3/4 LUME and MSO Excursion

In the morning the 3/4s went to the Melbourne symphony orchestra. They watched the Carnival Of Animals. They said the show was amazing and all of the instruments sounded great together. Afterwards they walked to the Lume. There, they saw lots of cool artwork inspired by Van Goh.
