Friday 3rd June- Weekly SSV Netball and Football Reviews

Mixed Netball  - by Jara Merrick

On the 3th of June, the St Agnes’ Mixed Netball team played St Columba's Elwood. It was an away game so we played on St Columba's grounds. We played two games, with great success in the second match, but sadly we lost the first match. Some of our Goal Shooters were Lexi, Anastasia who did a fantastic job scoring points for our team. Our Goal Keepers were Hudson, Anastasia and Nimah who defended the ball multiple times. We hope all the teams who go to the Lightning Premiership do their best and hopefully bring home a shield.

Last Friday we had a tough challenge against St Columba's . We fortunately got the win by 10 points and we all played amazingly well but some of our best players were James O , Hugh Clark, and Sebastian Fordyce. St Columba's was a good and fair team and showed lots of good sportsmanship.
