Winter Street Party

Rug up and enjoy the magic of Wyndham City’s free Winter Street Party in Werribee City Centre these school holidays on Friday 24 June, 6pm – 9pm.

See the city centre light up with fire shows and light installations, street performers, ice sculpting, kids’ activities and more.

The glowing wonderland will include precincts in Station Place, Watton Street and the West End, with warming winterfare from local restaurants.

Roving performers including a magical Dream Bear and LED robots will delight the kids along with glow-in-the-dark face painting, music from Junkyard Beats and DJ Raas Masters, aerial circus performances and a wintery wonderland of craft activities.

Settle in for a cosy dinner with family and friends or grab a hot chocolate to go and hit the street to enjoy all of the entertainment on offer.

Meet me in Tarneit | Firefly Night Market

Penrose Promenade Park, Tarneit will light up Saturday 25 June for an unmissable winter night market. Soak up the buzz as you explore market stalls, live music, cultural performances, interactive art and more.

Discover a magical wonderland of bright neon lights and glowing roving performers. Look out for M.O.T.I.F, the larger than life, junkyard robot puppet! 

Indulge in scrumptious bites and tasty treats from a selection of food trucks as you sip on an aromatic chai, warm up with a spicy curry or tuck into a taco or two.

With more than 60 market stalls to explore from local makers, you can expect to find gifts, jewellery, art, clothing and locally made sweets.

A vibrant line up of live music and performances will take to the stage including Bollywood dancing, African drumming, Brazilian Samba and a fire show.

So come down with the family, grab some dinner, settle in for some amazing performances and enjoy everything on offer while you support local.

The FIREFLY Night Market is the latest offering in the Meet me in Tarneit series of events. This free Wyndham City event series is being delivered by the Tarneit Suburban Revitalisation Program in partnership with the Victorian Government.
