REFLECTION PRAYER

Dear God,

We pray for the armed forces who have fought for our freedom and our country. 

We pray that they are treated with respect today, tomorrow and in the future. 

We pray that there are no wars in the future and if there are we pray that the future forces are treated with respect when they come back home to their family and friends.

POEM REMEMBRANCE

They fight with all that they hold

Through muddy grounds they go

They stand side by side

To make Anzac legend

We learn about the fights,

The fights are the most violent attempt of all.

Lives were lost along the way

Gently as they go - the remembrance we have are the bright red poppies

We march to remember their bravery and courage 

Through the darkest nights and the longest days

wartime is old, wartime shows fear,

wartime is remembered by the heroes that remain.
