Brenden Hunter


As part of our fortnightly newsletter we shine the spotlight on some of the wonderful staff that work at Monash SDS. Staff are asked to answer some questions so that we and the school community are able to get to know them better. For this week's newsletter we have....

 

YOUR JOB ROLE AND THE GROUP YOU WORK WITH:  

I am a classroom teacher in Junior Secondary Group 20.

 

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN WORKING AT MONASH SDS?  

I have been working with Monash Special Development School since the start of March.

 

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE COLOUR?  

My favourite colour is blue. 

 

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE FOOD TO EAT?  

My wife is from India. And my kids were born there. I eat  a lot of spicy food from Hyderabad in India. My favourite dish is a rice dish called biryani.

 

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE MOVIE?  

My favourite movie is Avatar.

 

WHAT COUNTRY WOULD YOU LIKE TO VISIT ONE DAY?  

The country I would like to visit one day is Antarctica. My son and I love the wilderness and animals.

 

WHAT STAR SIGN ARE YOU?  

I am a Libra. Like all good people. We are considered to not be able to make decisions. But really we show no bias.

 

WHAT ACTIVITIES DO YOU LIKE TO DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME?  

In my spare time I like to build things. At the moment I am doing some building and landscaping around the the house. I also like to go places with the kids. We do a lot of short stays. Places like the beach and up the country. Sometimes we go camping.

 

 WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE PART ABOUT WORKING AT MONASH SDS?

My favourite part about working at MSDS is seeing kids smile when they learn something new, which happens a lot. So I am always happy.
