Mothers and Significant Others Afternoon

On Monday May 9, all Junior School staff and students were very excited to welcome mothers and significant others into our classrooms for games, learning and socialising.

The first part of the event saw our classroom doors open for activities including reading, art and a ‘question and answer’ session in Year 4. All mothers and significant others then went for refreshments in the glasshouse with our Year 1 and 2 Choir providing some talented entertainment during this time. We then all went out to the Sally Kennett Playing Fields to finish the afternoon with some fun games.

We enjoyed showing our loved ones what we do at school and appreciated the opportunity to say thank you to the special women in our lives for everything they do for us.

A Touch of Pink

On Friday May 6, the Senior School hosted a fundraiser for breast cancer research where all students and staff in the Senior School were encouraged to wear a touch of pink. Our special guest interview for this edition provided some great information for us on this event (and may we say, looked great in their pink!). We congratulate our friends in the Senior School for a day of fun, awareness, fundraising and success.
