Dear Parents and Friends,
Term 2 has started with a positive buzz in the boarding houses with some COVID restrictions lifting and parents being able to enter the boarding houses again which has been a welcome change.
Some of the Year Groups have held parent catch ups which seem to have been greatly enjoyed and I am sure other Year Group events are in the planning process for later this term. These photos of the Year 3 families at the Millamolong Polo Classic and Year 5 mothers at the Parkview Hotel give an indication of their success!
The newly re-formed Boarding Parent Committee held its first meeting last term after a long break. This provided a useful forum for productive discussion to continue to improve the Boarder experience. The Committee will meet again on 24 May. Feedback from Boarding parents is always welcomed.

P&F Reading Fundraiser 2022 – KWS Junior School
Students from Pre-K to Year 6 prepare to start reading! Running from 18 May to 5 August the P&F Reading Fundraiser will promote literacy in the Junior School whilst raising funds for the Performance Theatre. Prizes will be awarded to the students that read the most books and a pizza lunch will be enjoyed by the class that raises the most money. Keep an eye out in your child’s diary for further details.

P&F Notice of Meetings
We would like to invite all of our parents and carers to attend the forthcoming Meetings of the Kinross Wolaroi School Parents and Friends Association.
An Extraordinary General Meeting will commence at 7pm followed by an Ordinary Meeting commencing at 7.10pm.

WHEN: 7pm-8pm Wednesday 11 May 2022
WHERE: The Executive, P&F Committee and Kinross Wolaroi School Speakers may attend in the McLachlan Boardroom.
ONLINE: Member attendance will be via Zoom only – please
