Congratulations Premiers' Reading Challenge participants!

18 November - Grade 5 raising funds for a cause close to BPS' heart.

Much loved family of past BPS student Beau Stevenson joined us at the assembly as part of Grade 5's presentation to Very Special Kids. The Stevenson family were moved and so appreciative to hear of Grade 5's choice to donate funds from their Market Day held in October to this charity. Grade 5 students worked incredibly hard to make and sell their wares in order to raise $3600.00 for Very Special Kids, an organisation that cares for children with life-threatening conditions and provides vital family support services.

Zack Gr 5 : 'On Friday 25 October, Grade 5 held our Market Day. We all worked really hard on making a product and organising our stalls.'

Charlie Gr 5 : 'On the day of the market, we all had a fantastic time selling our products to the school community.'

Sam Gr 5: 'We decided to donate the money raised to the Very Special Kids organisation. They helped our friend Beau and his family.'

Harry Gr 5: 'We have raised $3600 and on behalf of Grade 5, and we would like to present this cheque to Bridgette from Very Special Kids.'
