Brighton Bites Cookbook - on sale now!

Brighton Primary School’s second cookbook, like the first, is a book of recipes to feed the family.

“Brighton Bites: Recipes from our table to yours” has recipes for busy weekdays and those that you have more time to prepare for special occasions, all grouped into the following chapters: Embrace the Day; Mid-Morning Munchies; Luscious Lunches, Light Meals & Sides; Super Soups & Salads; Mighty Mains; and Something Sweet.

The 234 colour pages feature 190 recipes from all over the world, including: Turkey, New Zealand, the UK, Ireland, China, France, Japan, Sri Lanka, India, Italy, Greece, Serbia, South Africa, Slovakia, Germany, USA, Nepal, Brazil, Spain, Cambodia, Mexico, Hungary, Morocco and Croatia.

There is something for every taste, from black bean soup to chocolate salami; pork dumplings to pumpkin risotto; and Cambodian chicken curry to Christmas pudding.

Parents, staff, students and friends of Brighton have all contributed making “Brighton Bites: Recipes from our table to yours” a lasting memento of Brighton Primary School.

Notable contributors include Australian TV personality and author of 28 books about cooking, Tonia Todman; Hazel Edward author of “There’s a hippo on my roof eating cake”; and BPS students, who put their best creative skills into action and wrote and illustrated some beautiful recipes.
