LAST ROUND RESULTS

Under 11's

The Under 11's played St Mary's at The Hamilton and Alexandra College. This was a very successful game for the Cavendish Cats! Everyone played really well as a team and they were able to share in a great result because of this. Well done to Ava Huf, Thomas Hurley, Holly Lewis, Mietta Price, Pippa Quinn, Ava Outram, Emma Thomas, Lexi Thomas and Noah Weilbaecher on a wonderful season of netball. Some members of the team had never played netball before and it was so lovely to watch them play on Saturday and see how far they have come over the last 5 weeks. From not knowing the rules or where to go on the court, to now taking intercepts, shooting goals and making strong passes; there has been some wonderful improvements. The last five weeks have also provided a great opportunity for those who have played before to share their knowledge and skills to our newcomers! Well done team! 

Under 13's

The Under 13's played Monivae at Melville Oval. It was a tough game of netball against an older and taller team. That being said, our team played a wonderful last game together and gave it their all. All members of the Cavendish team were very receptive to feedback and adjusted their play accordingly. This showed that all players had great determination to improve and had growth mindsets. Well done to Georgia Abrahamson, Isabel Hurley, Holly Lewis, Mae Northam Fletcher Price, Talia Price, Holly Quinn and Lexi Thomas on a wonderful season of netball. You worked hard as both a team, and as individuals and all showed improvement by the end of Round 5. Well done team!
