Mrs Brabham has been notified of the students that have been selected to compete at Division finals in Warrnambool on Friday 6th April. Congratulations to Lexi, Talia, Addison, Ctayah and Hughie.  We wish them all the very best for their future events.

Welcome Breakfast

We were so happy to be able to hold a welcome breakfast at school yesterday.  It was lovely to be able to have all families back at school.  A big thank you to everyone who helped with the organisation and cooking.  The students loved it and had a full tummy ready for the day's learning.

We also took this opportunity to invite Frau Barber out so we could say an official farewell to her and thank her for her 30+ years of dedication to Cavendish PS.  She has been a huge part of this school and has provided wonderful music and German programs for our students to enjoy.  We will miss her around school but wish her well in her retirement.

Saturday morning Netball

A huge thank you to Trish, Miss Thompson, Glenda and any others that helped along the way by coaching, umpiring, scoring etc. Thank you to the parents, grandparents and friends for transporting their children into town early on a Saturday morning.  It was great to see some children trying netball for the first time and watching them all improve each week.

Colouring Competition

Our local policeman Paul has asked for the colouring competition pages that were handed out to students on Friday 18th March to be handed back by Tuesday 5th April. Paul will come to school on Wednesday 6th to do the judging and hand out the prizes.

Please make sure that the pages are named on the back.

Blitz

This week we have been focusing on showing positive behaviours at school and the different ways we can show this. Ways include - being kind, giving compliments, being fair, including others, being caring and listening to others.

Next Friday is the last day of the term and we will finishing the day at 2.30pm. The buses will be collecting the student at this time too.

Have a lovely weekend,

Lisa Ferrier
