National Latin Exam

This year for the first time Kinross Wolaroi students sat for the National Latin Exam online, instead of the usual multi-choice paper exam. Over 130,000 students around the world sit for this exam at their appropriate level. Miss Skinner's IT skills were put to good use in enabling Elective Latin students in Years 9,10 and 11 to do the exam in the online format. We are eagerly awaiting the results which are expected early in Term 2.          

Debating

Our Middle Years 7 and 8 students were valiant in rhetoric and unfortunate in defeat.  Our Seniors and Opens were amazing. They won their debates. 

Issy Wong Year 9, Alice Scholte and Nina Smedley from our Senior KWS 1 had a bye and were able to step up into the opens when we ran short of debaters.

Issy Wong won the best debater in the Open’s round for KWS 2. 

Shubhang Nagar won best debater in the Opens for KWS 1.

Elle Armstrong KWS 2 came third.

George Hogg won best debater in the senior round for KWS 2.

Annabelle Van Wyke  Senior KWS 2 was placed 3rd.

Chaitra Avirneni KWS 1 Middle was placed third.
