Old uniform moves to winter for Term 2 and 3

As we end Term 1, students still wearing the old uniform will need to change over to full winter uniform.

If wearing the old uniform, all girls should be in regulation navy tights for Terms 2 and 3 (no socks). Girls in Years 7 to 10 must change to the winter tunic and long sleeve shirt. Blazers are compulsory. Anoraks must be worn over a jumper or blazer and not as the only layer.

A reminder that you may not mix items from the old and new uniforms and that inability to purchase items of the old uniform will not be an acceptable excuse for not wearing correct uniform.

New uniform in winter – it is time to choose warmer options

Students who are wearing the new uniform do not have defined winter or summer options. Even so, parents must  ensure their children wear items that suit the cooler weather.

Tights may not be worn with the summer dress (for Years 3-12) or with the striped polo dress (for Year Pre-K to 2). Winter options to replace this include long pants or tights with a skirt (for 7-12) or tunic (3-6), or track pants for Pre-K to 2. Blazers must be worn to and from school in Terms 2 and 3.

There is a great selection of warm options available in the new uniform, including knitted vests and cardigans, as well as the v-neck jumper. Coat options include the fleece-lined, waterproof japara and the duffle coat. And don’t forget the puffer vest is a great addition for the current weather. Coats must be worn over a jumper or blazer and not as the only layer. A reminder that the old anorak may not be worn with the new uniform.

Hats

A reminder that hats are now compulsory year-round throughout the school.

Refresh your look in the holidays

The holidays present the perfect opportunity to have uniforms repaired and cleaned. Haircuts should also take place over the holidays.

A reminder that jewellery should not be worn with school uniform and earrings should be small plain gold or silver, round studs, or small sleepers with only one per ear. Make-up and nail polish are not permitted while in School uniform.

Students must wear the correct and relevant attire for the sport they are involved in – representative or club kit is not to be worn. School uniform must be worn to and from School each day when travelling on public transport.
