Out and About the School

Please note, School Tours are for new families. Current families can collect an enrolment pack from 28 April at the school office.

ANZAC Day

St Xavier's students are invited to participate in the ANZAC Day march. The assembly point for the march will be the corner of Marquis and Elgin streets, outside Mitre 10 from 10.00am. The march will will begin at 10.30am in Marquis Street and continue down Conadilly Street. 

The official service will begin at 10.45am at the Cenotaph on the corner of Elgin and Conadilly streets.

St Xavier's students are asked to wear their full summer uniform including their hat.

Winter Uniform

For the start of Term 2, students may wear their winter or summer uniform, depending on the weather (please note, students must be in their full summer or full winter uniform, not a mixture of both). Students will be required to wear their full winter uniform by Monday 23 May.

Circus Skills

Last Friday year 5 and 6 were treated to a Circus Skills workshop. They thoroughly enjoyed learning new skills and running away with the circus for the day!

Gunnedah Show

We hope anyone who was able to get out and enjoy the Gunnedah Show dropped by and looked at the awesome St Xavier's display.

Canteen

A big thank you to the new volunteers in the canteen; Suellen Beattie, Emily Barnes, Allison Mudford, Emily Margery, Zoe Swain, Lyndal Riordan and Annette Percy.

Also, a huge shout out ot longtime volunteers Kimberly Hyane and Kellie Maslen who due to other committments have had to step down. Your help over the years is very much appreciated.

As always, we are very thankful to all our regular volunteers.

We still really need more helpers on the following days:

1st Tuesday of the month and most Fridays.

Please contact Sue Strachan or the office if you are able to help, even if you can only come for an hour over the busy lunchtime.

COMPASS PAY

You now have the ability to pay and consent for events and excursions on the Compass Parent Portal. From now, you will receive an email with an event notification. You can follow the link in the email or go onto your Compass Parent Portal to pay and consent. There is no need for paper forms to be sent home and returned to school.

Payments for canteen, fees, uniforms etc will remain on QKR for the time being. Event and excursion payments will be made on Compass.

Fees

Payment was due by Thursday 31/03/2022. Should you have any concerns or queries regarding payment please do not hesitate to contact Jeni Muller in the office.
