Student Learning Conversations

Please note a change of date for the Student Learning Conversations where parents, students and teachers can discuss progress in the various subjects being studied.

The new date is Thursday, 28 April (Week 1 of Term 2) between 9am and 6.30pm.

The conversations will occur online. The change of focus from ‘interviews’ to ‘conversations’ is a purposeful choice to promote the active participation and voice of students, providing feedback regarding their learning and building the learning partnership between school and home.

The booking system on PAM will be open when reports are released.

Please stay tuned for more detail on when the booking system will open.

There will be no formal classes on this day and students are expected to join parents and teachers at these meetings.

Masks on buses

The Trinity College community is working hard to keep students safe in this current COVID climate, through regular sanitizing of desks, chairs and areas of high contact, keeping doors and windows open as much as possible and using air purifiers where ventilation is limited.

Masks must also be worn by students when travelling to and from school on a bus and while this directive may change in the near future, Trinity would appreciate if families can continue to support the school by regularly reminding students of these expectations.

Please also continue to utilise the Rapid Antigen Tests supplied by the government on a twice-weekly basis.

Lost Property

A reminder for students/families to check the lost property located at reception. We have gained a number of items from camps, Retreats and sporting events. If you are missing something we may have it at reception.

Instrumental Music Program

Places in the Instrumental Music and Concert Band programs have filled fast this year with the Concert Band program full for most instruments and other tutors with full days or limited places already. Students who are interested in learning can still complete enrolment forms and will be contacted as places become available.

New Strings Tutor

It is with great excitement we welcomed back Emma Piera recently to tutor our Violin students. Emma has tutored previously at Trinity and currently lives and teaches in Geelong. There are still a couple of spaces available for lessons on Violin and Cello for students of any year level. Contact Reception for an enrolment form.

Vocal Ensemble

A new vocal ensemble was launched recently and it was wonderful to see so many new faces coming along from all year levels. Rehearsals are Wednesday, break 1 in the Jubilee Centre, new members welcome, no vocal experience necessary.
