A Look at Learning

Kindergarten
Have a look at the marvellous Kindergarten students!
Kindergarten has been learning about the sounds 't' and 'm'. We made these letters out of our Autumn leaves and learned their AUSLAN signs as well.
Kindergarten read the story ANZAC Ted to find out about the importance of ANZAC Day and remembering all those brave men and women who went to war for us. The students created beautiful drawings of their own ANZAC teddy bears using oil pastels and watercolour paints.
Family Histories
At the end of Term 1, the students in Yr 1/2 invited grandparents or important seniors in their lives to share some of their personal history with the class. We were lucky to have 9 special visitors who shared interesting stories from their past and some exciting items that were used in the 'olden days'. We have not only learnt that history can be shared orally, but about the different lifestyles our elders experienced. To each of our guests, we say 'Thank you!'.
