Catholic Identity

The Easter Season is now underway and with it this brings us a sense of hope and new life for times to come. This season calls us to reflect on what new challenges or changes can be pursued to bring about positive change and growth in our lives. Take the time to try something new, you never know until you try exactly how much you might like it.

Sacraments for Term 2

This term, students in Year 3 will be offered the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of First Eucharist or First Holy Communion.

This sacrament enables your child to participate in the 'source and summit of the mass', where they can receive the blessed body and blood of Christ in the form of consecrated bread and wine.

Students in Year 3 will commence their studies in the Eucharist Preparation Program as part of their normal Religious Education lessons from Week 4.

An enrolment mass for interested and eligible students will be held later in the term with a date to be advised.

The official First Eucharist Mass will be celebrated on:

Sunday 19th June at 9am at the St Mary of the Angels Parish Church, followed by a morning tea in the Parochial School Hall.

Students wishing to partake in the Sacrament of First Eucharist this term are encouraged to contact the school and confirm your child's participation in this important sacrament.
