Art Gallery: Grade 1 Busy Bees 

Grade 1 students have been learning about how important bees are! They examined the features of bees including wings, legs and markings.

Students created these fabulous mixed media artworks. They firstly used paint on recycled bubblewrap to print a honeycomb background. Next, they illustrated a bee and engraved their design into printing foam which was printed using black ink. They  added just a ‘smidge‘ of colour  using soft pastels.
