Mission Endeavour Team

Last year saw the culmination of three years of work for our Mission Endeavour students. This team, started as a part of the Rudolph project, raised enough money to buy a motorbike for an orphanage in Pematangsiantar, North Sumatra. In October when that team and other students visited our partner schools in Indonesia, the motor bike was presented to orphanage staff. This week we received some very exciting photos of the bike being used to transfer students to school and church! We have included the photos below!

A return trip to work in our partner schools in Indonesia is currently being planned for this October.  This very exciting opportunity is for students in Year 10 and 11 who would like to serve others overseas.  It is an experience that allows students to come to know another culture closely, by working in and with the community. Our students work in the schools supporting Indonesian students' learning of English. If any student would like to be involved in this unique opportunity, application forms can be collected from myself or Sally Sandford-Morgan, either in person or via email. Applications are due by May 1. If further information is needed please contact either myself or Sally Sandford-Morgan. We look forward to taking another group on this very special experience later in the year.
