Year 10 Camp to Wilson's Promontory
From March 25 to March 27, the first Yr 10 Outdoor Education class ventured to Wilson's Promontory for its first overnight camp together. With less than desirable conditions for the first 2 days, all students came well prepared and ready to tackle some of our coastline's most testing conditions. With 40mm of rain and wind gusts up to 100kmph, students got an experience most wouldn’t leave the house for. Their reward was 2 days of great surfing and a hike up Mt Oberon in perfect weather to finish the trip. A great start to the year for our Outdoor Education students with the excitement now shifting to the Yr 11’s hiking trip down the Great Ocean Walk early in term 2.
