Cinquain Poems

This week Year 3/4 has been working hard on creating Cinquain Poems. Cinquain poems have five lines and each line of the poem develops the subject of the first word. Each line follows a general pattern and creates a diamond shape. Don't they look fantastic!!

Global Citizens Project Update

The Year 6 Global Citizenship Ambassadors, Noah Brennan, Camilla Grills, Thomas Graham, and Mackenzie Ellem, have been hard at work lately, creating, establishing and putting our plan into action. It has taken 3 and a half terms but our project is almost complete. We have put our bins, education program and teachings into place and can't wait to see the next part of our plan unfold.

There are two things left to do:

1. Share our plan with our community and other areas using social media,

2. Introduce nude food lunch boxes to the students and parents in our school.

Next week your children will undertake a check in and education program about nude food lunch boxes. We kindly ask all parents to help us in this program and take part by sending nude lunches to school with your children. A nude food lunch box contains foods without any packaging at all. You could use containers to store food instead of using plastic wrapping. Bento boxes are a great place to start! There are some ideas are listed below:

Please help us in our and your program. We can't wait to see this program unfold over the next term and years to come.
