FLEXISCHOOLS CASHLESS CANTEEN

The college has recently released ‘Flexischools - Cashless Canteen’. This tool is designed to make it easier for you to order lunch for your child/ren.

We encourage lunch orders to be pre-ordered, this app will allow you to do that; the order will be sent directly to our Canteen and the order paid via the app. No money will be required at the Canteen. Order history can be tracked on the app, and you can load money onto your child’s student card, and they can use this to purchase items from our Canteen. You can set up multiple children on one account and top up separately on their cards. Attached is the account set up information for you.

We will continue to accept EFTPOS and cash at our Canteen; Flexischools is another option. Simplify your school life with Flexischools – Cashless Canteen today.

ALUMNI UPDATE

Congratulations to Ross Chisari on his first role in Musical Theatre following COVID.

His new exciting role is the lead for Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys at the Civic Theatre in Newcastle.

Ross studied Italian as part of Year 12 and attributes learning a language as an essential component of VCE.

IMMUNISATIONS

Secondary school immunisations are provided to all students in Year 7 (HPV and diphtheria-tetanus-whooping cough) and Year 10 (meningococcal ACWY).

Due to COVID-19 interruptions to school-based learning, many students in Years 7 to 12 may have missed these important vaccines. This puts students at an increased risk of illness, including cervical and other HPV related cancers and diseases which they are being vaccinated against.

If your child missed their school-based vaccinations, speak to your GP or Mildura Rural City Council Immunisation Service about how they can catch up.

Mildura Rural City Council: Phone (03) 5018 8100

To see if your child is due for any vaccines, check their immunisation history statement on the Australian Immunisation Register using your MyGov account. If your child is over 14, they will need to access their immunisation history statement themselves through their own MyGov account or the Medicare mobile app.
