Year 9 RSPCA Excursion

Science

On Friday 4th and Wednesday 9th of November Year 9 students headed off to the RSPCA in Burwood.

Students spent the day learning about the important work carried out by the RSPCA including some very heartfelt stories about animals that have been rescued, rehabilitated and rehomed.

The Year 9’s then focused on ethical farming and humane food and completed activities on the guidelines involved in egg production and types of farms. The highlight of the visit was the barn tour and getting to meet rescued ponies Bonnie and Clyde as well as feeding the chickens.
