Music

Only the best
What’s in a name? It’s well recognised that when an organisation can wear its city name or its country name as the start of its title, it is well respected and at the top of its game. The AIS (Australian Institute of Sport), the AAA (Australian Architecture Association) and ASIO (Australian Security Intelligence Organisation) are respected in their field. Orchestra’s such as the London and New York Philharmonic, the Dallas and Berlin Symphony or the Welsh or Vienna Boys Choirs are respected around the globe. Here in Australia each of our states has their own professional orchestras with the Sydney and Melbourne Symphony Orchestras at the forefront and respected internationally.
This month we urge you to take the opportunity attend performances from not one, but two such organisations of incredible musicians, the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra and the Australian String Quartet. Both are highly recognised ensembles and will work with our students and present concerts for the community in the Kantor Family Music and Performing Arts Centre. See dates below, tickets for both concerts are free and please book ASAP.
