Parents and Friends

We have had an enormously positive response to our notice last week regarding a second hand uniform sale.

College parents are invited to sell or donate their second-hand uniforms at the sale with profits from donated items going to the Parents’ and Friends’ Association.

Junior School - Thursday 10 November from 9am-12pm at Myrniong

Senior School - Thursday 8 December - time and location  TBC

HOW IT WORKS:

Junior School - leave your items with Natalie at Reception between Monday 7 and Wednesday 9 November. Consignment forms available at Reception.

Senior School - leave your items with Fiona at Reception between Monday 5 and Friday 9 December. Consignment forms available at Reception.

Uniforms must be current items, freshly washed, clean, pressed and not requiring any mending. Sales are CASH ONLY.

Once your items have been sold, you will receive a text message to collect your money from Natalie or Fiona.

We welcome any parents who would like to be involved in the uniform sale to contact us - an hour or two would be wonderful either to set up the day before or assist in the morning at the Junior School. Please email us at PaF@hamiltoncollege.vic.edu.au

Sadly, Sarah Baker is leaving our school to return to Adelaide next year. Her position of Secretary will be vacant in 2023 and we ask for any expressions of interest or nominations for the position to be forwarded PaF@hamiltoncollege.vic.edu.au by Friday the 11 November. Please don’t hesitate to contact a member of the Executive team if you have any questions about the role.

The Christmas cakes are selling fast and ours has been personally taste tested and given a big thumbs up by my teenager and farmer, who needed swatting away from the cake tin. Make sure to collect one soon from Tosca Browns, The Rox, the Junior or Senior School Receptions.  The cake and ‘More Food With Friends’ recipe book package has been selling very quickly and is a fabulous gift idea for Christmas, also available from these locations.

We hope everybody had a relaxing long weekend. We wish our Year 12’s the best of luck as they sit their final exams and all other students all the best with their exam preparations, trips, camps and assemblies as they complete the final stretch of 2022!
