POSITIVE INFLUENTIAL WOMEN'S WALL

The Year 11 Wellbeing Team are organising a Positive Influential Women’s Wall. This is to coincide with Mental Health Month and White Ribbon Day on 25th November. St Pius X College is recognising influential and inspirational women in our global society.

During Years 7-10 English classes, the students will be creating a poster of a woman of their choice who has assisted, inspired them or society in some way.

The team have discussed influential women such as Turia Pitt, Susan B Anthony, Marie Curie, Laura Enevar, Indira Gandhi, Joan of Arc, Mother Theresa, Frida Kahlo, their own mothers, sisters, aunties and grandmothers and more.

The Year 11 Wellbeing team will be on hand to collect the posters at Friday lunchtime on the College Verandah and these will be displayed in the foyer  next week.
