Score Bench Course
Next Thursday evening (Thursday 20th October) I will be running a ‘How to score' course at school in the Gymnasium, from 6:30pm – 7:30pm. It is essential that parents assist with scoring and it is a requirement of the ISA that an adult is running the score bench. Please contact the College Admin and leave your name and an estimated time of arrival if you will be attending the course. The basics of scoring should take about 30 minutes to learn.
All new players will need to purchase a singlet and shorts from the Uniform shop next week prior to Round 1 Sat 22nd October. Parents can contact the uniform shop for prices. Students who cannot purchase a singlet or shorts for the first game of the season must see Mr Gibson prior to next Saturday.
Attached to the bottom of this article is a DRAFT game schedule for all teams for the full season. Home game times have been included. Home game times may change due to unforeseen circumstances. Away game times are sent to me each week prior to the games on Saturdays. Some away game times have been included. Parents and players must check Woodchatta every week for confirmed game times and venues. Round 1 is next Saturday 22nd October.
Next Saturday the A teams travel to Bathurst for Round 1 and a bus will be booked to take the players to their games. The bus will leave from Anderson St at 6:40am and will return to Chatswood around 5:00pm.
All teams have training next week. The Training Timetable is attached below.
This Saturday our Firsts and Seconds will be competing in the ISA Firsts Round Robin at Oakhill College. Good luck!

UPDATE: Week 1
At the time of publication for Woodchatta this week, the NSTA Competition details and the Draw are being established ready for this Saturday’s competition. A grading meeting took place on Tuesday night at NSTA and our draft teams put forward for the competition grading to occur. These SPX draft teams were published for students to cross check through the last week of Term 3 as a first step in the process – some teams may change divisions depending on other participating schools.
For new players and parents/carers, our home courts are at Talus Street, Naremburn and most teams would expect to play there. Details of other court locations and other key information from NSTA will be issued as soon as I have these details. Balls are provided.
Whilst waiting for the draw and other information that will be circulated via school email (I am anticipating this will be Thursday), players can get ready by organising their uniform requirements including College cap, blue PE shirt, white shorts and sunblock etc. Players and coaches will meet on Friday morning after Sports Assembly to confirm any questions or queries.
It would be appreciated if parents and players can check their email on Wednesday/Thursday this week. There will be the general information that everyone needs (including advice on Fee Payment) and a specific form for parents to sign and for students to return to their coach on Friday.
