Once again we are participating in National Tree Day in 2019.  Schools Tree Day and National Tree Day are Australia’s largest annual tree-planting and nature care events. At BHPS our event will take place on Friday 26 July.

Tree Day is to share awareness of the environment and to teach students about the small things they can do and be part of in the natural environment.

The Environmental leaders and members of the Junior School Council, along with interested members of the student community, will be assisting Mrs Evered on the day. Together with some parent helpers, we will be establishing an area of native grasses and shrubs at the front of our school. This will be the initial phase of the large scale project of re-establishing the gardens throughout the school.
