Shared Reading in Group 3

As all students in Group 3 love animals, we choose books which identify and promote their level of interest in order to encourage and motivate them to learn.  This week in our shared reading sessions we read the book ‘l Went Walking’ by Sue Machin.

All the students enjoyed identifying the animals in picture form, using an Aided Language Display to assist with comprehension and locating and identifying animals on an iPad screen using a communication device. The students then completed an art and craft activity to further develop their understanding about the book. Well done everyone, great job 👍
