Regional Parenting Service are partnering with MacKillop Family Services are excited to be offering a free “Connecting With Tweens and Teens” workshop via Zoom, on Friday 24th March 2023, 12.30pm –1.30pm. The workshop is open for Parents of Teens & Tweens aged 11 –18 years who live in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. Registration is now open and can be completed via Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/connecting-with-tweens-and-teens-workshop-tickets-579875983677

Hobson's Bay is taking enrolments for Tuning Into Teens, for Term 3. Tuning Into Teens is a six-session parenting program designed for parents of teens. This is an emotion coaching program that educates parents towards helping their teens to develop emotional intelligence. Research shows teens with higher emotional intelligence:

• have more stable and satisfying relationships as adults
• are able to deal with peer pressure better
• are more able to cope positively when upset or angry
• have fewer mental health issues and substance abuse difficulties
• have greater career success.
• Tuning Into Teens is facilitated by Hobsons Bay City Council and Hobsons Bay Youth Services.

Dates:

Term 2 2023 – Mondays 6.30-8.30pm (online)

Term 3 2023 - Exact dates to be confirmed.
