Year 8 Kokoda Challenge Pastoral Days

The Year 8 pastoral days occur next week Wednesday 8 March (Ridley, Rush, Foley, Gilroy) and Thursday 9 March (Harold, Ignatius, Ephrem, Slattery). Note the change of day for the Ephrem and Rush houses.

Students will have the opportunity on these days to develop and progress their team and leadership skills using character-building strategies. These days will take place at Mt Coot-tha. 

Year 12 Formal

The Year 12 Formal will be held this Saturday 4 March in the Main Auditorium of Brisbane City Hall from 7:30 pm to 11:00pm. During a recent Year 12 assembly the students were spoken to about College expectations and behaviour prior to, during and after the event by myself and Mr Newman.

Students, partners, and parents, are invited to have formal photographs taken outside the Main Auditorium, Brisbane City Hall prior to the Formal. Photos will be taken from 5:45 pm to 7:15 pm. 

For student arrivals on the night, please enter through King George Square driveway off Adelaide Street. You will be ushered through by QPS and City Hall staff to get dropped off in front of the Brisbane City Hall main doors. Once students are dropped off, please continue up the driveway and exit onto Ann Street. Please note there is a portico above the main entrance of 3.2m high which larger vehicles will need to be aware of.
