Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Foundation Scholarship

Recently, eleven of our First Nations students made their way over to the Australian Catholic University, Banyo where they were presented with their QATSIF Round 14 Scholarships. It was a fantastic event whereby all the Round 14 QATSIF scholarship recipients from across South-East Queensland schools came together to celebrate their achievements. The Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Foundation (QATSIF) is a charitable trust organisation first established in 2008. QATSIF recognises that successful completion of schooling builds a foundation for employment and a better quality of life for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people. QATSIF offers QCE Scholarships through all Queensland secondary schools to help to support Year 11 and 12 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students with their senior studies. QATSIF also humbly recognises the sacrifices of our Elders and Ancestors, especially those who were affected by the grave injustice of Stolen Wages.

Congratulations to the following students: Braith Crossingham, Caylis Bellman, Esmond Bowen, Gabriel Dinneen, Jai Jarro, Keli Law-Palm, Kynan Hale, Landon Law-Palm, Paddy Bassani, Troy Manoa and Tyrell Wolmby.
