MACS Art Show
Nazareth College has been fortunate to present five student works from Art, Product Design Technology – Textiles and Visual Communication Design at the 2023 MACS (Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools) Art Show over the past week. This is a show to demonstrate some of the best creative works of students from around MACS. It was great to see our students work stand proud with the other schools in attendance during the Awards ceremony on Thursday night. Congratulations to Ahbijot Bhinder (Year 8 – CH3), Elisha Mac (Year 8 – MX2), Luisa Nicolaci (Year 9 – MA2), Cayla Ho (Year 10 – MK 4) and Yasara Abeysekara (Year 12 – Class of 2022) for having their work selected for this show. Thank-you to Ms Formanek, Ms Green and Ms O’Brien for helping to coordinate and organise these works. The students workis below:

VCE Visual Communication Design Unit 1 Outcomes
VCE Visual Communication Design (VCD) Unit 1 students have hit the ground running this semester with their submissions of the first part of their Outcome. They have been working hard to develop essential skills in translating 2D drawings into 3D and vice versa. Please take a look at some of the excellent work so far from Dillon Spencer (Year 11 – MK6), Julia Mali (Year 10 – MX5), Victoria Kammel (Year 10 – KN3), Lisa Dinh (Year 11 – KN4), P.J. Petty (Year 11 – MX2), Cayla Ho (Year 10 – MK4) and Ava Tamvakia (Year 10 – MX1). I have high hopes that they will achieve well this year!
