Farewell Sherrins - Class of 2014

Our 2014 captains, Alison Miller and Nic Papasidero have both offered their talents this year. With Alison’s enthusiasm and Nic’s insightful humour, both have left a mark on Sherrin House. Their work behind the scenes and during each House event or gathering has helped make the year memorable. As one year enters another departs and our ever supportive 2014 seniors have been a standout! Of note, this year’s seniors are the first group to fulfil their years at the College as Sherrins! In addition, we cannot forget the help and support of Sherrin Superstar Mr Miller who also departs this year. Thank you all for your years of going for the gold and beyond and we wish all departing Superstars the very best in all their future pursuits.

Introducing Sherrin 2015 Seniors

Sherrin House is proud to welcome our newest captains, Oliver Reynolds and Mackenna Elwin. Both have shown great enthusiasm for the year that lies ahead! A few remaining events that are in the cards this late in the term include Sherrin Hot Seat and our Senior Lunch on Thursday, November 27.

Sherrin House has been abuzz with our latest cohort of Seniors stepping up to demonstrate their passion, positivity and participation behind our Sherrin ‘Senior’ Hot Seat Showdown over the last few Tuesday gatherings. The activity witnesses a small selection of our seniors sitting in front of Sherrin House introducing themselves and taking questions from the audience afterwards. This has offered a very good venue for our seniors to “make themselves known” to the younger Sherrins and share insight about themselves and life in general. Some of that wisdom has come about through song as witnessed by Mick Daniher, Mackenna Elwin and Matthew Rolfe while some advice on relationships has come about from Emma Croker, Ella Finemore and Lachy Myers. Other topics include favourite foods, music bands and memorable experiences here at the College. Overall, a fun introduction to our class of 2015.
