Whole School Athletics Carnival 2022
CESC's Whole School Athletics Carnival will be held in week 4 of Term 1 on Tuesday the 22nd of February. We will be running the following events on the day:
- Field events: (discus, shot put, long jump, triple jump, high jump)
- Track events: (100 m, 200 m, 400 m, 800 m, house relays)
There will be some food and drink available, however you are still encouraged to bring your own lunch / snacks.
- Sausages (halal) ($2)
- Vegetarian burgers ($2)
- Slushies / snow cones ($2)
- Popcorn ($2)
- Soft drink cans ($2)
There will also be a range of non-athletic activities for all: (karaoke, face painting, mini golf, jenga, checkers, connect 4 & a photo booth [which is $2])Students are encouraged to come dressed in their HOUSE colours with appropriate footwear to compete in (runners). Full sport uniform is also okay if you don't have house colours. No phones, speakers or food delivery orders (uber / menu log etc). Consent for this event is gained through the Local Excursion Consent Form which is due back on the 17th of February. This form can be accessed via compass, with hard copy versions being handed out in HG next week (week 2).
School Swimming 2022
CESC's School Swimming try outs will be held in week 5 of Term 1 on Thursday the 4rd of March. This is a sign up only event and participants must be able to swim to attend. Sign-up sheets have been placed on the year level sport notice boards.
Students who are successful in these swimming trials will be invited to attend the Division Stage of SSV Swimming and possibly the Region Stage (if successful).
Students must wear full sport uniform on the day but bring appropriate swimming attire (bathers, goggles, cap) and a towel. Food options will be limited so students are encouraged to bring food and drink.
Permission slips will be handed out after sign-ups close.
Term 1 Inter School Sport
Term 1 Sport Sign Up's are now up on the Sport Notice Board’s in the relevant buildings. Get in quick because sign ups close soon!
Division Dates:
- Year 7: Wednesday the 30th of March
- Year 8: Wednesday 16th of March
- Intermediate: Monday 21st of March
- Senior: Monday 7th of March
