Welcome to the Cranbourne East Secondary College Careers Newsletter.
Our College takes pride in its commitment to support every senior student in pursuing a meaningful and appropriate pathway destination.
Our Senior program is diverse and offers students the opportunity to complete one or more of the following: The VCE (Victorian Certificate of Education), VCAL (Certificate of Applied Learning) and VET (Vocational Education & Training). The correct combination of these certificates will enable our students to either higher or further education or employment or training.
Students' choices are critical to their enjoyment of study and their success, leading to pathways to higher education, training or employment. This publication is intended to assist students in making those choices. We encourage students to choose the pathway and subjects aligned to their interests and abilities.
We aim to help you:

Stuck for ideas
It may not be New Year’s Eve but that’s not the only time you can set goals and resolutions, but sometimes settling on your goals can be the hardest part and could stop you from getting started. If you’re still undecided about what goals can look like, we’ve put together some goal setting ideas that might inspire you.
Short-term goals for 2022
These might be the easiest goals to decide on. If there’s something you’ve always wanted to do, or try, or achieve why not make 2022 the year that you give it a go.
They don’t have to be supercool or on trend either, they can be anything that’s important to you.
It’s all about YOU
The ideas we’ve listed are pretty generic, they’re just to inspire you to think about what your goals could be.
So have a think about what you love, what makes you happy and the kind of life you’d like to end up living and go from there. There is no right or wrong.
