Staff Profile

It was with great enthusiasm I applied for the position of Head of Senior School at Scoresby Secondary College. I live locally and have resided in the City of Knox for my entire life. I have worked in other municipalities but much prefer to work in the City of Knox, there is nothing quite like being able to clearly see the Dandenong’s!

I have been involved in education for 30 years in both the private and public sectors. I have also been working for the VCAA in a variety of roles including examination assessing and auditing for the past 27 years! I hope to utilise this experience with the VCAA to help our students understand the VCE system and achieve better results for the same effort.

Currently I am teaching VCE Business Management and VCAL Work Related Skills at Scoresby Secondary College. I have also taught Year 12 Physical Education where I am a textbook author in this area.

My first impressions of Scoresby Secondary College are very positive. The students are very friendly and engaging as are the staff and this reaffirms my decision to join the community here at Scoresby.

Officially I have a Bachelor of Education from Deakin University and on weekends you will find me running around the local football ovals as an Eastern Football League Senior Umpire!
