Our 3 - 6 students have participated in their first webinar with Marty from Inform & Empower on Tuesday this week.  Our 1\2's will participate next week and our Prep's will participate later on in the month. Below is the focus for each level's session as well as 'tip sheets' for you to continue the conversation at home.

P-2 focus: 

• the internet is like visiting a theme park
• we are all digital citizens
• trusted adults

3/4 focus:

• rights & responsibilities
• safe and unsafe online choices
• understanding what the internet is

5/6 focus:

• rights & responsibilities
• the internet is a public and permanent place
• the law and the internet

Whilst the live sessions happen in the classroom, it is essential that parents are continuing the conversations at home.

Inform & Empower have designed a simple "tip sheet" for parents/carers that gives an overview of the session and some conversation starters.
