Music Updates

Hello Lakesidians! I hope you have all been well and enjoying this Winter weather (as much as you can). Term 2 has been an extremely busy time for the Music department, and we wanted to update you on a few of our activities.

Winter Recital

Our music students took to the stage in our second Winter Recital earlier this month, where the community gathered to celebrate the talent at the College. And boy, they did not disappoint! Performers across the primary and secondary schools showcased their skills on a range on instruments. We were lucky enough to even have a few group acts, from duets to full scale bands. A big congratulations goes to our students, parents and our instrumental teaching staff at Lakeside. Your support truly means everything to us.

Annie!

Next month will see the showcase of our 2023 school musical, Annie! Our student cast has been working very hard (since Term 1) to prepare for the show and it is almost here. 

On Thursday 27th and Friday 28th July, Lakeside College will be taking to the stage at the Cardinia Cultural Centre to present this production. We were very fortunate to give the community a sneak-peak of our work in the Thanksgiving Services at the end of Term 2. 

A taste of what is to come! Information on ticketing will be provided to the community soon.
